The CO2 traffic light (649-000-10) measures the current carbon dioxide concentration in the ambient air and clearly displays it using the three traffic light colors. 

This solution is ideal for all interior spaces where people regularly spend long periods of time; public buildings, conference rooms, restaurants, shops, waiting rooms, schools and office spaces.

Recommendations are to install the traffic light no higher than 2m above the floor and not directly on a window. 

Since carbon dioxide is generally distributed fairly evenly throughout a room one traffic light is generally enough for rooms like a classroom or conference room. 

What do the lights mean? 

• Less than 1,000 ppm (parts per million by volume) - When the light is green there is no need to ventilate the room 
• More than 1,000, up to 2,000 ppm - If there is a yellow light, the room should be ventilated 
• More than 2,000 ppm - When the traffic light is a continuous red it means it is immediately necessary to ventilate the room until the light turns green again 
• More than 3,000 ppm - If the traffic light flashes red that means there is now a danger to health!
