The OM20 and OM30 sensors offer three product features to increase your efficiency:

1. Precise and compact:

These small-sized sensors not only offer flexibility in your design but they also provide strong measuring performance. Suitable for non-uniform or challenging surfaces, these sensors have advanced features including exposure time settings in both point or line beam shapes that many competitive products fall short of. Dynamic applications are also easily solved with the 5 kHz response time.

2. Easy to use:

Thanks to intuitive parameterization, the sensors can be easily and optimally programmed to specific application requirements. Visualized measurement results allow for detailed analysis, making system changes fast and efficient.

3. Connected:

The OM20/OM30 sensors utilize the standardized IO-Link Smart Sensor Profiles (DMS) for fast and easy integration into control technology. Additional sensor data are easily accessed via IO-Link to improve process transparency.

Find the right performance laser distance sensor in only 2 steps:

1. Define the measuring range. To achieve the highest precision, the measuring range should be kept as small as possible.
2. Define the beam shape. To increase the stability of the measured value, it is recommended to use a line beam shape. A point sensor is advantageous for measuring the smallest objects and changes in profile steps.
