Our Schmersal SLC440COM is a series of Type 4 safety light curtains that are used to protect hazardous areas. Available in 14, 30 or 35mm resolutions and protection field heights between 330 and 1770mm.
This part number includes a emitter, receiver and mounting hardware.
This series has zero dead space which gives you a fully protected height for the entire length of the light curtain! Ideal for applications with space limitations or that need full length protection.
This series is a one-piece extruded reinforced housing in a compact 28mm x 33mm rectangular profile.
The SLC440COM is basically the SCL440 Type 4 safety light curtain without the 7 segment display and many of the integrated functions. The SLC440COM offers automatic and restart modes which gives you a cost-effective option!
This series is suited for use in safety circuits up to PLe (EN 13849) or SIL3 (IEC 61508).
