Our Pepperl+Fuchs VDM28 series is a distance sensor that uses PRT (Pulse Ranging Technology). This sensor has a compact housing from the standard seires 28 sensor range.
PRT gives you better parameters at a lower cost. Long range, accuracy, insensitivity to light and great pricing makes this an attractive package.The VDM28 is one series that includes PRT. Others are R10x photoelectric sensors, R2100 multi-ray LED scanners, R2000 2-D laser scanners and VDM100 distance measurement sensors.
This is a universal distance sensor that can be used in a wide range of applications.
