Established in 1984, we're excited to celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2024!

Under family ownership, and proudly women-owned, our strong leadership and exceptional teams have worked hard to keep MWA thriving.

This month we reached another exciting milestone: our WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council) certification!

What is WBENC?

Founded in 1997, WBENC has developed a nationwide standard for women-owned business certification.

WBENC is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, operated and controlled by women in the United States.  

What this means for MWA:

We now have access to a network of resources that promote innovation, open doors to new partnerships, and fuel economic growth.

WBENC certification positions MWA as part of an initiative that actively supports and raises awareness of women-owned businesses.

We're thrilled to showcase the WBENC logo on our website – keep an eye out for it!

What’s next for us?

In addition to our WBENC certification, we've also submitted an application for the WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business) federal contracting program.

Earning this certification would unlock significant opportunities for a small business like ours. We eagerly await the results, so stay tuned!
