The Brand Name Challenge: Lenze, Leuze, Lutze

We've all had those moments where you have to double-check to decide what a company actually sells based on their brand name.

Enter Lenze, Leuze, and Lutze.

These names might have you doing a tongue twister just to say them, but don't let the similarity fool you – their products are worlds apart!

Lenze

Lenze Americas (pronounced Leh-nt-seh), a family-owned leader in industrial automation, brings generations of experience to the table.

They manufacture a range of inverters, gear motors, and mechanical parts, that keep your machinery running smoothly.

Originally under the AC-Tech name, Lenze continues to be a quality manufacturer of AC drives, showing their commitment to both innovation and legacy.

Leuze

Not to be confused with Lenze, Leuze (pronounced Loy-tse) has a history as rich as the fabrics they once wove.

Originally a textile mill in Southern Germany, Leuze took a bold turn in 1963. Instead of threads and looms, they decided to focus on the future - the future of sensors, that is!

What started as a way to improve their own textile machines blossomed into Leuze electronic, a company that now manufactures an extensive range of sensors.

From keeping workers safe to ensuring smooth operation, Leuze's sensors are like the eyes and invisible hands that keep things moving like clockwork.

Lutze

I hope we cleared up Lenze and Leuze, but now we’re going to trip you up one last time and throw in Lutze.

Lutze (pronounced Loot-seh), specializes in flexible industrial control and power cables.

Originally started as a wholesaler without a warehouse in 1958, Lutze was a distributor of electrical appliances, cables and electronic components.

It wasn't long before they saw the need for more specialized solutions, and Lutze eventually shifted gears (pun intended!) to become the flexible industrial control and power cable experts they are today.

While very different, Lenze, Leuze and Lutze do share one thing in common – they all originated from German engineering.

From the movements controlled by Lenze’s components to the watchful eyes of Leuze’s sensors, and the  connections of Lutze cables, these German made products keep the industrial world up and running!
