Effective December 1, 2023, Noark Electric will begin to phase out production of most of the B1NQ family of miniature Circuit breakers.
The B1NQ has served its purpose in the market, however, demand for the similarly rated B1N has made it uneconomical to retain both product families.
The Phase Out Notice available under 'Documents' outlines the phase-out plan and the direct alternatives available to replace B1NQ breakers. The recommended alternative is the B1N series.
Noark will continue to offer our Quick-Connect variant of the B1NQ in 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, 30A and 40A ratings, along with the related accessories for surface mounting and panel mounting these breakers.
Phase-Out Program & Deadlines Inventory Run-down:
December 1, 2023 • Beginning this date, Noark will selectively cease ordering the affected B1NQ products from our factories for warehouse stock. Customer orders may be ordered from the factory when approved by supply chain.
Conversion Period: January 2, 2024 • All customer orders for the affected B1NQ items after this date will be converted to the equivalent B1N version unless Noark has inventory available. Customers will be notified of the substitution.
Final Obsolescence: March 31, 2024 • After this date, the affected B1NQ products will be marked obsolete, will no longer be orderable
Our Noark B1NQ series of mini circuit breakers are compliant with UL/CSA/IEC standards for branch circuit protection in commercial and residential applications.
The current limiting B1NQ is thermal-magnetic and protects against short circuit and overload conditions. The breaker provides optimum and efficient protection for branch and control circuits!
